Young-at-Heart encourages seniors to remain actively involved in the church. We build relationships, fellowship together and encourage continued learning. We want to utilize the gifts, experiences, and the skills of senior adults to advance the Kingdom and build LSBC.
We plan local trips, fun activities and social gatherings like birthday luncheons. We also have service projects that support the missional mindset of the church. Seniors enjoy contributing and being useful, even if they may be more limited in their physical capabilities.
We have a special Traditional Service, singing hymns and listening to the Word of God, on the first Sunday of the month at 5:30 pm, in the Chapel.
